1.From Cannes: Round-Trip Ferry to Ste. Marguerite Island

★★★★★★★★★★4.6 · 1,747 reviews · from $24Our pick

Take a 15-minute Trans Côte d’Azur ferry from Cannes to Sainte-Marguerite Island and explore at your own pace. Walk forest trails, visit Fort Royal, watch migratory birds at Batéguier Pond, or swim toward the underwater eco museum. Frequent return boats make this an easy half-day or full-day outing.

“A nice boat ride to the island. The scenery is beautiful and the town is nice. The museum is not that interesting but you don’t need a ticket to walk around, only to enter the museum. Don’t sit outside on the sides if you don’t want to get wet. Overall, the experience for the money is worth it.”

Ferry from Cannes to St Tropez

2.Ferry from Cannes to St Tropez

★★★★★★★★★★4.5 · 216 reviews · 1 day (approx.) · from $104

Travel by ferry from Quai Max Laubeuf in Cannes to St Tropez, then explore independently for the day. The crossing takes about 1 hour 15 minutes to 1.5 hours each way and offers fine Riviera views. There is no guide, but the boat has indoor seating, toilets, and a small cash-only bar.

“Overall easy and smooth transaction on picking up the tickets and getting TO st tropez. Easily one of the cleanest ferries we've been on and the ride was beautiful both ways. Only flaw is the lines on the return ride from St Tropez is not clear and the staff don't really enforce it. We wait on line about 25 mins beforehand with the company sign, only to have them open the gate from a different sign. It then becomes a free for all with guest rushing the gates. Truly unruly and it would have been nice for the staff to do some crowd control.”
